The idea for painting breakfast comes from Carol Marine’s Paint Your Breakfast Challenge on Daily Paintworks. For me, breakfast is the same every morning: 4% fat cottage cheese mixed with freshly ground flax seed and a variety of oils  – flax, hemp, fish, and coconut. I like the stuff, but my husband can barely choke it down, so for his sake we top it with berries.

  1. So happy to see you back. Your breakfast sounds very healthy, but I think I agree with your husband. I, too, would require some of that luscious fruit… especially like your painted blueberry.

  2. What a healthy way to start the day and it sounds pretty tasty with the fresh fruit. The reflecting light off the berries has such attention to detail. Your work in amazing.
